DAVID DE GEA could be part of a sensational swap deal to lure Real Madrid superstars Gareth Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United, according to reports.

Manchester United to include David de Gea in stunning swap deal for Real Madrid star
Man United keeper David de Gea could be used in a swap deal to sign Gareth Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo

The 25-year-old goalkeeper was on the verge of joining Real in the summer to replace Iker Casillas but the transfer fell through due to an administrative error on deadline day.
De Gea has since signed a new four-year contract with the Red Devils until 2019 and is one of United's prized assets, but a move to Real Madrid could soon be back on.

With French outlet Le 10 Sport claiming that United will look to use Real's long-term interest in De Gea and his £40million release clause to lure Bale or Ronaldo to Old Trafford.
This swap deal would reduce the fee United would have to pay for either of the two stars and would perhaps encourage Real president Florentino Perez to strike a deal.
Both Bale and Ronaldo have been long-term targets for United and are the type of players with that 'x-factor' boss Louis van Gaal is looking for.

Out of the two players it seems as if Ronaldo would be more likely to make the move to his former club.
“Out of Bale and Ronaldo, Ronaldo is the player expected to leave the club. Bale is still seen as the future, whereas Ronaldo’s best years may now be behind him," claimed a Real insider in the Telegraph
Van Gaal has come under and has even been tipped to get the sack at Old Trafford, so signing either Bale or Ronaldo would certainly be a positive step towards getting the fans back on side.
