MANCHESTER UNITED are interested in Benfica youngster Renato Sanches, according to reports.
The 19-year-old midfielder is highly rated at the Portuguese club having been with them since 11 years of age.
He only made his first-team debut for the club in October but signed a new contract until 2021, which has a release clause of around £58.8million (€80m).
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo say United sent scouts to watch the teenager on the weekend, where he scored the only goal in a 1-0 win against Vitoria de Guimaraes.
While A Bola also report United were at the match to keep tabs on Goncalo Guedes, but he remained on the bench for the 90 minutes.
United have a history of being linked with Benfica players.
