BACARY SAGNA has accused referees of giving Manchester City a raw deal when it comes to penalties.
City have been denied what have looked clear spot-kicks in three of their last four games, the latest in added time of the goalless draw with Everton in midweek when referee Roger East rejected heated appeals following John Stones' late challenge on Raheem Sterling.
It followed similar incidents involving Sergio Aguero at Leicester last month and Jesus Navas at Goodison Park 11 days ago and prompted defender Sagna to declare: "The whole team are being unfairly treated. What do we have to do to win a penalty if we get the touch in the box?
"When it's against us it's clearly a penalty and we're punished straight away. I don't know why but the midweek incident wasn't the first time it's happened this season."
City are looking to return to winning ways today by completing a hat-trick over Crystal Palace following their 1-0 victory at Selhurst Park in September and 5-1 win at home in the Capital One Cup fourth round.
They are still without Wilfried Bony, Eliaquim Mangala and Fernandinho plus long-term casualties Vincent Kompany and Samir Nasri.
Palace have failed to socre in their last four League matches and manager Alan Pardew is considering a move for Emmanuel Adebayor to boost their strike force.
Pardew, who tried to bring Adebayor to West Ham when he managed there 10 years ago, said: "We have to see if we are the right club for him, and he is the right player for us.
"I've never had a fall-out with him, and I had experience of difficult players at Newcastle.
"There are not many strikers who are good enough to get in our team, but Adebayor would improve us.''
Yannick Bolasie is out for another eight weeks while Dwight Gayle and Connor Wickham are also still injured.
