Manchester United are preparing a £75million move for Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale, according to reports.
The Welshman has been heavily linked with a return to England in recent months with United said to be interested.
And following the sacking of Rafa Benitez yesterday, United see the Spaniard's axing as a boost in their attempt to lure Bale away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Mirror report that Bale is disappointed at Benitez's sacking and now United will offer £75m plus for the striker.

United are set to offer Felipe Anderson a £170,000-a-week contract in a bid to conclude a deal with the Brazilian, according to the Daily Star.
Anderson is understood to be on £70,000-a-week at Lazio but United will offer him a bumper wage boost to try and persuade him to come to Manchester.
United were said to be close to completing a £35m deal after officials travelled to Rome.
But latest reports emerging in Italy suggest the Red Devils are now facing stiff competition from Premier League rivals Watford to finally push through a deal.

The Manchester outfit are reportedly considering a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The German has been linked with a move to Liverpool but Jurgen Klopp has denied his interest in the 23-year-old.
But he could still seal a move away from the Nou Camp with Italian publication Calciomercato claiming the Red Devils are interested.
The report suggests David De Gea could still move to Real Madrid in the summer and Ter Stegen is being lined up as a possible replacement.
