NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you all the latest news coming from Old Trafford.
Manchester United have taken 15-year-old Polish goalkeeper Bartosz Mrozek on trial.
According to Polish publication, Przeglad Sportowy, United made an approach to Poznan to take the player in December and he will now spend the next few days with the club.
United have reportedly been watching the teenager since November 2014.
Dutch football fitness expert Raymond Verheijen has criticised the coaches at United for their management of Memphis Depay.
After a bright start to his career at Old Trafford, Depay has faded badly starting only five of United's last eleven matches in all competitions.
And Verheijen feels United should have managed him better.
He said: "He [Depay] goes from PSV Eindhoven to Manchester United, so that means that the speed goes up. The speed of play and in training in the Dutch Eredivisie is lower than at Manchester United, in training and in the games in the Premier League. For Memphis Depay, the treadmill goes faster.
"That means that temporarily you have to reduce the volume for him so he has to train less and play less game minutes for his body to get used to the higher tempo and once he has caught up with the speed of actions then gradually, over time, you can increase the number of training sessions and game minutes all the way to team level.
“Then, after some months, his body will have caught up with playing football at a Premier League level.
Robert Lewandowski has dismissed suggestions he could move to the Premier League.
“I don’t see any difference between Bayern and England’s big clubs,” said Lewandowski.
“Of course, the English clubs have plenty of money to spend — but they always had a lot of money and Bayern have always been able to compete.
“There is not a single club in England that will catch Bayern just because they have more money all of a sudden.”
