Manchester United are hoping to sign Ever Banega from Sevilla, according to reports.
The Argentina midfielder is on United's radar despite the uncertainty over Louis van Gaal's future report the Sun.
Banega joined Sevilla in 2014 from Valencia and could move to Old Trafford this month.

United are yet to sign anyone during the transfer window but a late move for Banega would bolster their midfield.
Bastian Schweinsteiger, Michael Carrick and Morgan Schneiderlin have all come in for criticism this season.
And 27-year-old Banega would add to their options.

United have also upped their interest in Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin, according to reports in Italy.
It's claimed that Matteo Darmian has been talking to Perin about a move to United.
The Italian duo are reportedly good friends and Darmian is hopeful of luring him to the Premier League.
The report adds United see the 23-year-old keeper as a replacement for David De Gea - who has again been linked with a switch to Real Madrid.

Manchester United look set to lose out on former Chelsea and Arsenal defender Ashley Cole.
The left-back is ready to sign for Los Angeles Galaxy, according to the Daily Mail.
United, however, could offer an alternative after being hit by a series of injuries.
Louis van Gaal has lost Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young while Marcos Rojo is still out.
On Saturday United lined up with Matteo Darmian and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, but the Italian was replaced by Paddy McNair after an hour.
