LIVERPOOL will beat Manchester United in today's crunch Premier League fixture, claims Charlie Nicholas.

The league's great rivals come head-to-head at Anfield this afternoon (2.05pm) in one of the most hotly-anticipated fixtures of the football calendar.

And according to Sky Sports pundit Nicholas, Jurgen Klopp's men will come out on top - heaping pressure back on Louis van Gaal.

 

"This is simply one of the biggest games in world football," he told Sky Sports News.

“Both these sides are struggling and they are learning that possession in the Premier League isn’t king but goals are.

 

"I like Jurgen Klopp and all his fist pumping and he seems to like these big games and gets big results, there’s just something about him. 

"I can see Liverpool winning and further isolating Louis van Gaal’s position as United boss.”
