Liverpool Transfer News: Leicester deal 'agreed', £8m bid rejected, £75m Barca revelation
Leicester have agreed a transfer fee for Liverpool target Daniel Amartey

Leicester have moved ahead of Liverpool after the Danish club accepted the Foxes' bid, believed to be in the region of £6million.
A statement on Copenhagen's official website read: "A deal has been agreed between FC Copenhagen and Leicester City FC for Daniel Amartey.
"The agreement has been signed on the assumption that Amartey and Leicester City FC as expected come to an agreement on a few personal/minor details."

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror claim Liverpool have had an £8m offer turned down by Southampton for striker Shane Long.
The Saints announced the £4m signing of QPR forward Charlie Austin over the weekend, but Ronald Koeman is determined to keep hold of the rest of his squad.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp set his sights on the 28-year-old Long in an attempt to strengthen his injury-hit attack, but will now have to look elsewhere.

Luis Suarez was not Barcelona's first choice in the summer of 2014

And finally, former Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has revealed Barca wanted Manchester City's Sergio Aguero before completing a £75m deal with Liverpool for Luis Suarez.
"We had some options (in 2014). The first was not Suarez. He knows it," Zubizarreta told Marca.
"In winter we considered the signing of Aguero. That did not work out. In this situation, there was no doubt: Luis Suarez was our only goal."
