Liverpool Team News: Defensive duo return for Arsenal clash but doubts over midfield stars

KOLO TOURE and Mamadou Sakho are set to hand Jurgen Klopp a much needed injury boost ahead of their clash with Arsenal tomorrow night (8pm).

 

Kolo Toure is set to play against his former club

 

Toure limped off the pitch after last week’s 1-0 win over Stoke in the Capital One Cup while Sakho aggravated a knee injury in the 2-0 defeat to West Ham on January 2.

But the pair are expected to play in central defence alongside full-backs Nathaniel Clyne and Alberto Moreno.

 

James Milner, Jordon Ibe and Jordan Henderson are also likely to return to the squad but face fitness tests.

Klopp will be without Martin Skrtel, Dejan Lovren, Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge for the Anfield match.

 

Divock Origi is also missing after he had underwent surgery on a knee problem.
