WES MORGAN claims Leicester are relaxed about their run of fixtures which sees them face three of the top seven Premier League sides in the next month.
The Jamaican international has played every minute in the Premier League this season for the Foxes.
And while surprise package Leicester are three points clear at the top of the league, they now host Liverpool before trips to Manchester City and Arsenal, all in the space of 12 days.
“Three tough games,” Morgan told The Sunday Times.
“But we’re not too worried.
“If we want to be top at the end of the season they’re the challenges we have to face.
“Whatever happens, for the calendar year [2015] we were unbelievable and the rise continues, it’s the end of January and we’re top.
“The boys need to be proud.
“It’s just nice to prove people wrong.”
Leicester were staring down the barrel of relegation from the top flight of English football this time last season but now finishing top of the pile is very much a possibility.
And with Jamie Vardy scoring goals for fun and breaking Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record for scoring in consecutive games while a number of other previously unknown players are thrust into the international spotlight, you might forgive Leicester for getting carried away with all the hype.
But captain Morgan runs a tight ship and is also the one in charge of the nights out.
They are only every three months.
“We keep ourselves grounded, we ignore what’s around us, we focus on our job,” Morgan added.
“And then we’ll see how far we can go.”
