Dennis Praet is set to be Jurgen Klopp's next January arrival at Liverpool |
The 21-year-old has been attracting interest from a host of clubs including Liverpool and Fiorentina, following comments made by his agent Jacques Lichtenstein.
"What can he gain by spending one more season at Anderlecht?" he told Voetbal International.
"He has already played for three years and has contributed to three back-to-back league titles…"
It's understood Anderlecht have set a £22.3million asking price for the young Belgian international, which is said to have ended Fiorentina's interest.
However, according to Belgian newspaper HLN, a 'monster bid' from Liverpool is expected as Jurgen Klopp looks to further strengthen his side in January.
The report claims Klopp's admiration for Praet grew following Borussia Dortmund's 2014 Champions League clash with Anderlecht.
And he is keen to add the attacking midfielder to his other done deals - £5.1m Serbian star Marko Grujic and young Polish goalkeeper Kamil Grabara.
Praet turned down an offer to join Arsenal in 2010, claiming he didn't want to disrupt his education by moving to London at such a young age.
