Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp gives his thoughts on booking a ‘cool’ trip to Wembley
Jurgen Klopp was delighted at Liverpool booking their place at Wembley

Liverpool lost 1-0 on the night courtesy of Marko Arnautovic’s goal on the stroke of half-time as they tried to defend their 1-0 advantage from the first leg.
After 30 minutes of extra-time and the scores level on aggregate, it was left to Joe Allen to score the winning spot-kick after Simon Mignolet had saved Marc Muniesa’s penalty.

Liverpool will face either Manchester City or rivals Everton on February 28, and Klopp is already looking forward to the prospect of lifting silverware.
“It was great, the atmosphere was special. It was a good game for my side against a difficult side to play,” Klopp said.
"They changed their style today. It was Butland to Crouch so it was difficult to defend. We had a few problems, but they didn't have too many opportunities.

"Their goal was double offside but, in the end, we had luck in the penalty shootout. Over the whole 120 minutes, the players, crowd and Liverpool deserved it.
"Wembley is a cool place to play football... but we go there to win. It's not much fun to lose."
