MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly worried about Ryan Giggs' long-term future at Old Trafford.

Man Utd fear major departure if Louis van Gaal quits
Louis van Gaal's days at United appear to be numbered

Louis van Gaal has been under constant scrutiny this term and reports even emerged that he offered to tender his resignation in the wake of Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Southampton.
Van Gaal prompted further speculation about his future when he jetted back home to Holland, but it later emerged he attended his daughter's birthday.
But according to the Daily Mirror, United chiefs fear Giggs may decide to walk away if Van Gaal quits.

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is the leading contender in the event United dismiss Van Gaal.
Giggs is also believed to be in the frame, however the above report suggests there are private concerns the Welshman may not want to settle for being a No.2 again.
United's former chief executive David Gill seemed to back up this claim last week.

He said: "I think that is something that Ryan will be thinking about and discussing it with the powers that be within Manchester United.
"I don't disagree with the notion that you can't be a No 2 forever. You've got to go out and prove yourself, and demonstrate you've got what it takes and you can actually do it when you're in the firing line.
"I think, speaking to Alex over the years, and discussing his No 2s and their ability to be No 1, there are clearly different traits between being an excellent No 2 and being in the hot-seat as a No 1."
