LIVERPOOL have agreed a deal to sign Alexandre Pato from Corinthians, according to reports.
The 26-year-old striker has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Manchester United and even turned down a £400,000-a-month mega move to China.
But it seems Liverpool have won the race to sign the AC Milan star with Italian Journalist Alfredo Pedulla claiming that Corinthians and the Reds have agreed an £11million deal.
The Brazilian striker has reportedly been persuaded into the switch to Anfield by fellow international team-mates Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
Pato burst onto the scene for AC Milan between 2007 and 2013 but after a succession of injuries his form dipped significantly.
His injury setbacks saw him leave AC Milan and return to his homeland where he signed for Corinthians for £12.8m on a four-year deal.
However, he failed to impress and was loaned out to Sao Paulo where he rediscovered his goalscoring form, scoring 26 goals for them during 2015.
Liverpool currently have 12 players sidelined with injury including striker Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Danny Ings, so the signing of Pato would be a much needed attacking reinforcement.
