LEICESTER striker Jamie Vardy claims he's now fully recovered following a minor operation on his groin.

Jamie Vardy scored his 16th of the season against Stoke

The England international recently endured a six-game goalless streak in the Premier League as he battled a recurring groin injury with pain-killing injections.
But the 29-year-old, who went under the knife earlier this month to speed up his recovery, says he's 'fully pumped up' ahead of Tuesday's visit of Liverpool.

Vardy found the back of the net in Saturday's 3-0 win over Stoke to take his season's goal tally to 16 and to lift the Foxes to the top of the table.
"You go through a spell where you don't score but thankfully I've scored a goal," said Vardy. "It's just one of those things that happens to strikers.

"It was well-documented that I had to have an operation and I was playing with pain-killing injections. But I could have literally gone straight back into training after my operation.
"I think this is the best my groin has felt. It was just a case of the pain from the operation which made me sit out a few training sessions, but other than that I'm fully pumped up and ready to go."
