JURGEN KLOPP has picked out Stoke's Marko Arnautovic as a player to be wary of when Liverpool travel to the Britannia Stadium for the first leg of the League Cup semi-finals.
The former Werder Bremen striker, who Klopp knows well from his time in the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund, is Stoke's top scorer with seven goals to his name this term.
"Arnautovic was young player in Germany who had some problems but he has a big talent. He's scoring goals, making runs behind lines," Klopp said.
Klopp has been impressed by the Potters' recent performances, which have included surprise home wins over Manchester City and Manchester United.
But the Reds boss is well aware of the importance of overcoming Mark Hughes' side to claim the club's first piece of silverware since 2012.
"We know about the quality of Stoke, of course," the German added. "It's the team I know most about because I know most of the players.
"This cup is important. We have to go for it. Our target is to win it. It will be tough because Mark Hughes has done a brilliant job."
