This new video claims to be the first glimpse of the long-rumoured iPhone 6C

There's plenty of rumours circulating online about a smaller Apple iPhone.
It is similar to the iPhone 5C which replaced the iPhone 4S in the Apple line-up, ensuring every Apple smartphone used the smaller Lightning Connector cable.
Although the iPhone 6C will not get the pressure sensitive 3D Touch display, it will ship with support for Apple Pay and speedy A9 processor.
The front-facing and rear camera will remain the same as the iPhone 5S, according to industry sources.
Now a video named  "First real 4-inch iPhone 2016 leaked" has appeared on YouTube and claims to reveal the new smartphone, rumoured to launch in March.

Watch the video below –

The description states: "4-inch iPhone 2016 model design have similar design like iPhone 6s, but smaller.
"We don't have more information, but it's one of the first demo examples from Foxconn department. Sorry, but we can't show more tech specs."
The video has been viewed more than 87,000 times with many convinced this is the first glimpse at Apple's next iPhone model.
But on closer inspection – there are a few discrepancies between the rumours from Apple's supply chain and the handset shown in the video.

The long-rumoured iPhone 6C is expected to replace the iPhone 5S in Apple's current iPhone line-up

For example, the iPhone 6C in the video looks considerably larger than the reported four-inch.
One YouTube commenter posted: "It's an iPhone 6 or 6s, look at the speaker placement and the distance between it and the ports."

And if that's not enough, here are a few other points –

• Due to the smaller frame needed for a four-inch display, the ports on the base of the iPhone would need to be closer together – similar to those on the iPhone 5S.
• The model name, which appears at the bottom of the rear case on iPhones, has also been covered-up with white tape.
• Finally, there have been plenty of rumours that indicate this new iPhone will not look like Apple's flagship 6 or 6S, but instead a tweak on the iPhone 5S design.
