GUUS HIDDINK has suggested he will get the best out of Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic by rotating the Chelsea pair.

Guus Hiddink explains controversial Chelsea selection
Cesc Fabregas started for Chelsea against Crystal Palace this afternoon

Fabregas was booed by a large section of the Chelsea support during their 3-1 win over Sunderland before Christmas and was subbed off at half time against Watford on Boxing Day.
He has been blamed for fuelling Jose Mourinho’s departure from the club last month.
The midfielder didn’t travel with the squad for their 0-0 draw at Manchester United on Monday and Hiddink explained why this afternoon.

“We have a broad squad and Matic has done his job,” Hiddink told Sky Sports.
“But also Fabregas must bring his quality to the team, that’s the goal.”
Diego Costa also missed the United clash due to suspension, which meant Eden Hazard played the lone striker role.

“We had to adapt a bit our system over there but (Costa is) back, he’s eager,” Hiddink added.
“I hope he can go on the same path as he was, fixing on his quality which was giving assists and also scoring.
“(Hazard) was out for injury reasons and came back in to a position where he can play. But whether he plays on the left, the right or as a second striker he can bring a lot.”
