GUUS HIDDINK joked that Chelsea tried to make Petr Cech’s new goalkeeping gloves more “slippery” when they were accidentally delivered to their training ground this week.

Chelsea's Guus Hiddink admits he tried to sabotage Petr Cech's game for Arsenal for a joke
Petr Cech has kept 10 Premier League clean sheets this term for Arsenal

Arsenal keeper Cech controversially left Chelsea in the summer for the Emirates, and faces his old club on Sunday in a crunch Premier League clash.
But Cech’s glove suppliers adidas mistakenly this week sent his new gloves to his old club – and Cech was forced to pop into Chelsea’s Cobham training ground to pick them up.
Cech’s performances this season have helped Arsenal to the top of the league and to their best chance of the title in a dozen years.
But Chelsea interim boss Hiddink said: “I was here. It was late in the afternoon, on Thursday, when Petr showed up here.
“He knew the gloves were here and we tried to hide them. We also tried to make them a little bit slippery, but he discovered that also.

“They were wrongly sent here, but we gave them back. It was nice. We had a chat. Almost everyone else had gone.”
Hiddink who managed Cech at Chelsea in his previous spell in charge in 2009, said: “Petr is doing very well. We see him weekly. He's a very good professional, a very nice person, and on top of that he's performing. He has been producing some very strong performances.
“Yes I know him well, but will that help us on Sunday? Only by having slippery gloves!”
A boost for Hiddink though is that both Diego Costa who had a bruised shin, and Eden Hazard, who had a groin problem, are expected to be fit for the game.
