Diego Costa is "doubtful" for Chelsea's Premier League clash with West Brom on Wednesday, manager Guus Hiddink has confirmed.
Costa hobbled off with four minutes remaining in Chelsea's 2-0 FA Cup third-round win over Scunthorpe.
The striker had scored Chelsea's opener before Ruben Loftus-Cheek secured progression after the break.
His absence on Wednesday could lead to a recall for Loic Remy, who is wanted by a number of Premier League clubs in the transfer window.
Hiddink also provided a fitness update on Eden Hazard, who did not feature today.
“We want to be cautious with Eden. We don’t want him to fall again with muscle problems,” said Hiddink.
“I want to be careful with him so that he doesn’t start too early. It will maybe be a week later (than necessary) rather than too early.”
Loftus-Cheek, meanwhile, spoke of his pride after scoring his first goal for the Blues.
The 19-year-old was making only his seven appearance of the season.
And he reserved praise for interim boss Hiddink after the match.
"(It was a) really nice moment when I got the goal. I'm really really happy with that. Just to come on and play 45 minutes was amazing," he told BT Sport.
"I'm really pleased to play for (Hiddink), he's a really nice man as well as a good manager.
"It's been different, obviously with a change of managers but we've got to get on with it and I feel we did really well."
In transfer news, Radamel Falcao will not have his loan terms at Chelsea cut short.
According to parent club Monaco, Colombia international Falcao will not return to them despite him enduring a mixed stint at Chelsea.
Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said: "Falcao is currently injured. He has six to eight weeks to go like that.
"We have decided not to take him back to Monaco for the moment."
Chelsea are thought to be keen on offloading Falcao, who has scored once for the club since joining them in the summer.
