ARSENE WENGER has to consider starting Mohamed Elneny straight away, according to Ray Parlour.

Arsene Wenger must drop this Arsenal player for Mohamed Elneny - Ray Parlour
Ray Parlour is expecting big things from Mohamed Elneny

Elneny spent three years in Switzerland that saw him make 90 league appearances and pick up three consecutive Super Ligue titles.
Wenger hopes to have the Egypt international registered by noon today to make him eligible to play in their trip to Stoke on Sunday.

And should he be able to feature, former Gunner Parlour believes the 23-year-old should slot straight into Wenger’s team ahead of Mathieu Flamini.
The Frenchman started in Arsenal’s 3-3 draw with Liverpool on Wednesday night, but with the arrival of Elneny, the 31-year-old’s place in the starting XI is under threat.
“Elneny will play in midfield, and they do need another player in there,” Parlour said.

“Mathieu Flamini’s doing a decent job with Francis Coquelin out, but at 23 years old Elneny’s got that little bit more mobility, he’s good in the tackle and efficient on the ball.”
Ahead of their trip to the Britannia Stadium, Arsenal lead the Premier League table by Leicester on goal difference.
