Arsene Wenger 'could resign' as Arsenal boss in summer for Pep Guardiola
Paul Merson wouldn't be surprised to see Arsene Wenger resign in the summer

Guardiola revealed last week that his next job will be in England after already agreeing to leave Bayern at the end of this season.
The Spaniard has been linked with Premier League heavyweights Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United, but Merson feels Arsenal are his best fit.
The former Arsenal player believes Wenger could choose to resign - even if he leads his side to the title this year - to ensure the Gunners don't miss out on Guardiola's services.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Merson said: "I think Arsenal is a good fit for him, if I’m being honest.
"I thought Arsene Wenger might have looked at it and thought, ‘right, I’ve got a good chance of winning the league this year’.
"He could go out in a blaze of glory and win that. He’s done great for the club, and could say to the board ‘I’ve been around for a long time…this man fits the bill.’"

Guardiola said last week that he has already been approached by English club, but he admits he won't make up his mind until the summer.
"I have an opportunity to work in England," he said. "I think I'm at the right age and I feel it is the right move for me."
"I have offers from England, but I have not signed a contract yet. I can't say more right now. I have not signed a contract yet."
