Arsenal are interested in signing former academy product Oguzhan Ozyakup, according to reports.
Ozyakup joined Arsenal's academy from AZ Alkmaar in 2008 but was sold to Besiktas in 2012 for a fee of £300,000.
And Turkish newspaper Milliyet, claim the Gunners are keen on bringing the youngster back to the Emirates.
However they will have to pay a substantial amount more than they let him go for to seal his return, with Besiktas now valuing Ozyakup at £9.3million.
Arsene Wenger is planning a double deal for Inter Milan duo Mauro Icardi and Marcelo Brozovic, according to football agent Vincenzo Morabito.
Morabito claims Wenger is an big admirer of the pair and wants to add them to his squad before the closure of the transfer window.
Morabito told Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport: "Yes, (he is interested in them) especially the second (Brozovic).
"Maybe something will happen because Wenger feels that this may be the right year to win the Premier League."
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has ended any hopes Arsenal had of signing him by reiterating his desire to stay at Borussia Dortmund.
"In football nothing lasts for ever. But my contract runs until 2020, that is a fact," the Gabon international told German newspaper Bild.
"I feel happy, still want to achieve lots with Dortmund and win titles, that is also fact.
"I am here and nowhere else. Not at Arsenal, not at Barcelona, not on the moon - you can see that."
