ISCO has reportedly requested a transfer at Real Madrid - but he may not be heading to the Premier League.
Isco, 23, is said to have grown frustrated with a lack of game time at the Bernabeu.
The Spaniard has made 20 appearances under manager Rafael Benitez this season but has started just three of Real’s last nine outings.
Arsenal have been liked with a £28.9million deal for Isco this winter but reports in Italy claim he may be heading to Milan.
According to radio station Onda Cero, Milan are determined to secure the midfielder and believe he has requested to leave Spain.
Milan sit sixth in Serie A, eight points off league leaders and city rivals Inter, and are looking to bolster their squad this January.
The Daily Mirror also claim Isco could be a target of Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, who was in charge of the player at Malaga.
But Pellegrini’s unclear future may end City’s interest in the player, with the former expected to leave the Etihad Stadium club at the end of the season.
As for Arsenal, they expect to have the work permit of Egypt midfielder Mohamed Elneny wrapped up by next week after the player passed a medical ahead of his £7m switch from Basel.
