LEICESTER have lost their top scout Ben Wrigglesworth to Premier League title rivals Arsenal.
Wrigglesworth was the head of Leicester's technical scouting and has been credited with bringing stars Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante to the King Power Stadium.
But now the Foxes are set to lose him to Arsenal, with both sides joint top of the league with 44 points, and the highly-rated scout is now on gardening leave ahead of a switch to the Emirates, according to the Daily Mirror.
Arsenal are only ahead of Leicester on goal difference with 16 games to go and the Foxes have been the surprise package in this Premier League season.
Mahrez and Kante have been key men in Claudio Ranieri's side, with the Algerian winger taking the plaudits for scoring 13 goals in his 21 Premier League appearances.
His combination with Jamie Vardy, supported by Kante's resilient displays in central midfield, have been incredibly influential in Leicester's meteoric rise.
But the Gunners have long been admirers of Wrigglesworth, who is set to officially complete his move from Leicester in the coming weeks.
