CLAUDIO RANIERI has forced Arsene Wenger to change his mind after the Arsenal manager had initially written off the Foxes as serious challengers to their own title ambitions.
The two teams sit alone alongside each other at the top of the Premier League after Arsenal drew at Liverpool on Wednesday night at the same time as Leicester were snatching a late winner against Tottenham.
And even though a lot of people are questioning whether the side that were bottom of the table this time last year can stay the course till the middle of May, Wenger leapt to their defence.
“To be completely honest with you I thought they might not last,” Wenger said.
“But I have changed my opinion today because their remarkable consistency makes them one of the contenders.
“When the bubble bursts, most of the time it’s before Christmas or during the Christmas period.
"They didn’t. So I believe you have to count Leicester.”
