ARSENE WENGER is confident that key players Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will be fit for Arsenal's potentially decisive Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday.
Ozil missed last weekend’s goalless draw with Stoke with a foot inflammation but the German World Cup winner will be available for the Super Sunday match at the Emirates.
The Chilean striker has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since November – so his availability for the Arsenal attack for this crunch tie would represent a significant boost to the club’s title hopes.
Wenger said: “Compared to last week we have no big problems for the squad that had been available against Stoke.
“The good news is that Ozil certainly will be available. Sanchez over the next two days will be decisive but, this time, I think he will make it for selection.
“Francis Coquelin is back in full training today, ahead of schedule.
“Danny Welbeck will be in full training next week. So those are positive news.
“Tomas Rosicky I think will play for the U21s tomorrow night. A few players are coming back. We’re going into a very important period now, so to have people available is important for us.”
