BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH'S Granit Xhaka has admitted it is his dream to play in the Premier League.
The Switzerland international has been attracting interest from both Arsenal and Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp's Reds reportedly preparing a club record bid for the midfielder.
Xhaka recently became Monchengladbach's captain and has helped the German club rise to fourth place in the Bundesliga this season.
Monchengladbach are determined to keep the 23-year-old, but director of sport Max Eberl has admitted he could leave the club if a tempting offer is received.
He told German television station WDR: "It [a possible sale of Xhaka] depends partly on our sporting success. It depends on the performances of Granit and of course on the price."
And now Xhaka has himself admitted he is keen on a switch to England in the near future.
Speaking to German news outlet Tor Fabrik Xhaka said: “I have a childhood dream, that is the Premier League.
“Whether I play two or a hundred games in England, I would like to eventually make this childhood dream come true.”
