The 20-year-old made an instant impact at United following his huge deadline day move from Monaco, scoring on his debut against Liverpool.
And ahead of the corresponding fixture at Anfield tomorrow, the French attacker thanked his manager Louis van Gaal and United supporters for their backing.
"The fact that the manager has shown faith in me has also helped me and it’s thanks to him and my team-mates for what I’ve achieved so far," he said.
"The fans have shown a lot of confidence in me since I arrived and I received lots of welcome messages and kind wishes from them.
"It was really quite touching to get these and I hope I can repay them over the years that I’m here at United."
