ARSENAL manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to step upstairs if he can convince Pep Guardiola to take over from him this summer.

Wenger ready to move upstairs at Arsenal if Guardiola snubs Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd
Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to stand down if Pep Guardiola will replace him

Guardiola is set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season and is expected to replace Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City.
Chelsea and Manchester United still remain hopeful of landing the Spaniard, and now Arsenal also seem to be in the race.
Guardiola revealed last week he was moving on and Bayern are set to replace him with Carlo Ancelotti when his contract expires.

But BBC pundit, and former West Ham, QPR, Manchester City and England winger, Trevor Sinclair reckons there's something going on at the Emirates.
He said: "Not left my phone or a new story but reliable source Arsenal have been chasing Pep for years and Arsene could be moved upstairs this summer."
Sinclair did also suggest that Louis van Gaal had been sacked by Manchester United with Jose Mourinho in to replace him last week.
But he then recoiled explaining his phone had been taken at a Christmas lunch - however this time he claims to be genuine.

"They've been after Pep from when he had his sabbatical in NY," he added.
"As we all know? ..... 'Not every favourite comes in!'"
Wenger recently spoke out on the speculation linking Guardiola to the Premier League.
"I don't like that a manager has come out so early on what they will do. Not good for own team or speculation for others," Wenger said.

"We want this league to be the best, but also the right balance. You need 40-50% foreign managers, but also local, like Eddie Howe - you do not want to kill that."
But the Frenchman did admit he admired the Bayern boss.
He added: "It’s important to have the balance right because they bring different ideas.
"He’s a top quality manager, no one would dispute that. Not for what he’s won… Bayern won before, Barcelona still wins together.
"I think of his positive attitude, that he wants his side’s to play in a positive way."
