ARSENE WENGER has hit out at Pep Guardiola for his decision to reveal his exit from Bayern Munich prematurely.
The Spaniard confirmed last week he will leave the German champions at the end of the season - to be replaced by Carlo Ancelotti.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked with moves for the former Barcelona boss.
But Wenger feels his departure from Bayern could have been handled better and admits it may be difficult for the 44-year-old to move to the Premier League.
Wenger said: "I don't like that a manager has come out so early on what they will do. Not good for own team or speculation for others.
"We want this league to be the best, but also the right balance. You need 40-50% foreign managers, but also local, like Eddie Howe - you do not want to kill that."
However, the Arsenal boss did admit his admiration for Guardiola.
"It’s important to have the balance right because they bring different ideas," he added.
"He’s a top quality manager, no one would dispute that. Not for what he’s won… Bayern won before, Barcelona still wins together.
"I think of his positive attitude, that he wants his side’s to play in a positive way."
