Twitter reacts as Man United legend Neville leaves Liverpool hero Carragher on his own
Gary Neville will manage his first game for Valencia next week
GARY NEVILLE has been named head coach of Valencia until the end of the season and Twitter has reacted with a mixture of delight, hilarity and sadness.

Neville has been working as a pundit for Sky Sports since retiring for Manchester United in 2011.
He has also been assistant manager to Roy Hodgson with the England national team.

Unsurprisingly social media has erupted at the news and Neville's Monday Night Football partner Jamie Carragher was among the first to have their say.
The former Liverpool defender said: "Gutted!
"This reminds me of when Pegguy Arphexad left for Coventry."
Below are the rest of the best reactions to Neville's departure from Sky.

Neville's first match as Valencia's new coach will be their Champions League game against Lyon next Wednesday.
