Trying for a baby? Here's why TOMORROW is likely to be your lucky day
Tomorrow, more babies will be conceived than any on other day this year
TODAY could be re-named lucky Friday, as more babies will be conceived than any on other day this year.

Friday 11 December (today) will be a day many British couples look back on fondly when, in nine months' time, they welcome a new baby.
More babies will be conceived tomorrow than on any other day this year - which is great news.

But a new report has found mums-to-be are not getting basic nutrients, including their five-a-day.
According to national birth records December is also the most popular month for conceptions – with a whopping nine per cent of babies conceived at this time of year.
Scientists say winter is a more fertile season than summer because sperm quality is higher in colder temperatures.

If you're trying for a baby, it will be worthwhile having a go tomorrow

And, as we could've guessed, people have more sex in December than other winter months because of festive partying and more time spent indoors.
Centrum - a multivitamin company - commissioned a study looking into pregnancies and conception.
It's all well and good the average woman spending four days of 2015 having sex, according to the Watchshop, but most aren't even getting the most basic vitamins to help them through conception and pregnancy.
Shockingly, a whopping 70 per cent of pregnant women don’t manage to eat the recommended five daily portions of fruit and vegetables.
Leading pregnancy and family dietitian Dr Sarah Schenker said: "At the very time of year when conception rates rocket, potential ‘mums-to-be’ are often indulging in forbidden foods and booze when really they should be aiming to get as many key nutrients as possible.

"Even if you’re more aware of your diet when you are trying to conceive it is still likely that you’re not getting the recommended amount of all necessary nutrients."
She added: "Nothing beats a balanced diet with a whole array of nourishing foods.
"But with not all women meeting the basic daily nutritional requirements, supplements that help make up for those missing vitamins and minerals can be a great option."
Dr Sarah’s 5 top nutritional tips for mums-to-be:
  • Take a multivitamin containing Folic Acid during conception and pregnancy and Vitamin D during pregnancy and breastfeeding to ensure you are getting all of the micronutrients you need to support you and your baby and support your regular diet.
  • Introduce healthy snacks such as nuts and seeds which can be served in different ways such as sprinkling them over salads, mix them with yogurt or throw them into soups and stews to make sure you get the most from this nutrient packed food group.
  • Try and eat more home cooked meals and less processed foods.
  • Stay hydrated: Make sure you drink plenty of water.
  • Fibre is key to helping the body stay regular; add a source of fibre to a chilli or bolognaise by including extra beans and pulses and make your mix 50 per cent vegetables.
Centrum has developed a new range of multivitamins to help women safeguard their nutritional health before and after pregnancy available from Boots and Tesco from December 2015 from £4.29 for 30 supplements.
