Liverpool are keen to sign Leeds youngster Sam Byram, according to reports.
The Reds have been watching the 22-year-old in recent weeks with the The Sun claiming Byram could depart Elland Road for around £5million.
Byram, who can play in midfield or at full-back, is contracted at Leeds until the end of the season and could be tempted by a move to the Premier League with Leeds currently 13th in the table.
The report suggests Liverpool have a good relationship with Byram's representatives that could help push a deal through.
FC Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny is reportedly undergoing a medical ahead of a move to Arsenal.
It is understood that the north London club have reached an agreement with the Swiss club over a fee and only personal terms are left to be decided.
And Swiss outlet Basler Zeitung are reporting that the Egyptian is set to undergo his Arsenal medical in Switzerland.
Tottenham are preparing another move to sign West Brom forward Saido Berahino, according to reports.
Mauricio Pochettino attempted to sign the England international in the summer but the Baggies rejected three bids.
But following Clinton Njie's injury the Argentine boss has made Berahino a priority target in the January transfer window, according to the Daily Star.
