Arsene Wenger admits he likes Victor Wanyama |
NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you the latest transfer news.
The Southampton midfielder is reportedly Arsenal's top January target after losing a number of midfielders to injury.
The Gunners have lost Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta and Santi Cazorla and still have worries about Jack Wilshere's fitness.
And Wanyama, a strong defensive player, could slot into his team to protect the back four.
"I rate the player, but we are not on the case," Wenger said.
"We will see what is there. We have a whole December to go first."
Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj admits he may have to look elsewhere for football.
The Belgium international has been farmed out on loan to Borussia Dortmund after struggling under Louis van Gaal.
But Januzaj has found it tough in Germany as well and admits he is uncertain on his United future.

Asked if he would be heading back to Manchester at the end of the season, Januzaj said: “I don’t know.”
“I wanted to join somewhere I could play and there were a few things behind that were a problem but I’m happy here.
"I just need more games to play and then I’ll be fine.”
Chelsea striker Diego Costa has hinted he could return to Atletico Madrid.
The Spain international was reportedly unsettled in London earlier this year and has struggled on the pitch this season.
He has four goals in all competitions - just three in the league - after hitting 20 last term.
And he admits he still watches Atletico but asked about the possibility of following full-back Filipe Luis, his close friend who returned to the Spanish capital after one season at Chelsea, the 27-year-old said: "You never know - look where Filipe Luis is now. Life is full of surprises.
"I always wish Atletico the best and I always follow them, support them from afar."
