Chelsea's Radamel Falcao has been injured for more than a month |
Falcao, 29, has been out for more than a month with a muscle complaint.
The Colombia international, on loan at Chelsea from Monaco for the season, has scored just one goal all campaign.
But in a post on instagram the former Manchester United loanee said he was glad to be back in training.
"I'm working hard and focusing on recovering," he said.
"For that reason, I was not using social media accounts for a month or more.
"I am very happy to train again with the team.
"I am sure I will back strong."
Falcao's return could be a timely boost for Chelsea as they prepare for the busy festive schedule.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is under pressure to get results after failing to convert last season's title victory into results this term.
The Blues sit 14th in the Premier League with eight top-flight defeats to their name already this season.
They host Porto tonight (7.45pm) in the Champions League knowing a win will guarantee them progression to the last 16.
They then travel to Leicester on Monday night before hosting Watford on Boxing Day.
Two days later they travel to Manchester United and then visit Crystal Palace on 3 January before an FA Cup tie with either Leyton Orient or Scunthorpe.
