MANAGER Steve Evans is determined to bring a little Christmas cheer to Leeds United at Nottingham Forest after years of festive misery.
Leeds last won a holiday fixture in 2009 and Evans said: "It's a time of the season when we're not known for collecting points. We have to alter our recent history in that respect."
Leeds arrive at the City Ground in good form, having won three times in a four-match unbeaten streak and with midfielder Tom Adeyemi back in the squad after illness.
Forest are on a season's-best run of five games unbeaten but have been dealt a big injury blow after Daniel Pinillos was ruled out for the rest of the season.
