TOTTENHAM have a "real opportunity" to win the Premier League this season, claims Harry Redknapp.
Spurs sit fourth in the table, four points behind leaders Arsenal.
Mauricio Pochettino's side have only lost twice in 19 games with defeats coming against Newcastle and Manchester United.
Things remain tight at the top with Arsenal, Leicester and Manchester City all vying for top spot and Redknapp believes his former side have got a great chance at attaining Premier League silverware.
“Tottenham have been excellent so far this season,” he told talkSPORT.
“If they put the same type of run together in the second half of the campaign there’s no reason why they can’t [make a title challenge], it’s wide open this year.
“Nobody is running away with it. Arsenal were strongly fancied after they beat Man City but then they get beat 4-0 by Southampton, there’s something not right with City at the moment and Leicester have still got a chance, it’s been incredible what they’ve achieved, a miracle.
"The title race is wide open and Tottenham have got a real opportunity. They’re looking very strong, they’re right up there and there’s no reason they can’t have a crack at it.”
Spurs travel to Goodison Park on Sunday (4pm) to take on 11th placed
