Robin van Persie and Memphis Depay clashed during a tumultuous Euro 2016 campaign

MEMPHIS DEPAY ridiculed Robin van Persie sparking an argument between the two players.

The incident took place as the two trained ahead of the Netherlands' crucial clash with Kazakhstan, the penultimate game in their vain efforts to qualify for Euro 2016.
Depay had failed to pass to Van Persie for a clear goal, choosing instead to pick out youngster Jairo Riedewald, who missed.
An argument arose that continued until the team's dinner later that day, and according to , Van Persie asked Depay if he thought he was a big boy.

"Do big boys play for Fenerbahce?" said Depay in reply, at which point coach Danny Blind had to intervene.
The manager chose to confront Van Persie, saying 'you again?'.
Van Persie was then left out of the starting lineup as the Netherlands triumphed in Astana 2-1.

Depay on the other hand, played the whole game.
The 21-year-old has not been without controversy in his short Manchester United career.
He has been dropped from the United first team several times after drawing public criticism from boss Louis van Gaal, while Blind has also blasted the winger for his behaviour while on national team duty.
