PEP GUARDIOLA may not manage any team next year but instead elect to take another sabbatical according to his agent.
Guardiola is due to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season to be replaced by Carlo Ancelotti, but his destination next year is as yet unclear.
The former Barcelona boss is being courted by Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, while reports about an approach by the Qatari-owned Paris Saint-Germain have been rubbished by the Spaniard’s agent Josep Maria Orobitg.
"We have never discussed Pep's situation and PSG have not asked me anything about his plans," Orobitg told L'Equipe.
"He hasn't said anything to me. In any case, it's not something that we are considering at the moment.
"The Premier League is a big possibility. Pep will make a decision in two or three months' time.
"Everything remains a possibility, including a sabbatical year."
It would not be the first time the 44-year-old manager has taken a break after a job.
Having stepped down as Barca boss in the summer of 2012, Guardiola spent a year in New York in order to recover, before taking the Bayern job in 2013.
But with the Chelsea job vacant this summer, Louis van Gaal under heavy pressure at Manchester United, and City happy to dispense with Manuel Pellegrini if Guardiola will replace him, the Spaniard will find it hard to take another break.
The blue side of Manchester currently seems to be the most likely job for Guardiola, where he would be rejoining Barcelona colleagues Txiki Begiristain (director of football) and Ferran Serriano (chief executive officer).
However, should a historic club like United make a similar offer, Guardiola will find it difficult to turn it down.
