AYOZE PEREZ admits he is flattered by interest from Manchester United and Tottenham.
Newcastle ace Perez scored a stoppage-time winner in their 2-1 victory over Tottenham on Sunday.
It was the 22-year-old's fourth goal of the season and first since the start of November.
And when asked about the chances of leaving St James' Park, the Spaniard told IBTimes UK: “I just know the same as you.
"What I hear, what I read. It is a great pleasure for me (to be linked with Man United and Spurs).
“It is incredible, something very big and that’s because I’m doing well but I must go on. It’s my job.
“You never know. Football takes many turns.
“In fact I am a substitute. I am working hard to be in the manager’s starting plans.
“That’s all I think: to work. Then the fruits arrive.
“I am very happy at Newcastle. They gave me everything, they made me professional.
“I want to continue working with them, trying to climb on the table and then whatever happens will happen.”
They are four points clear of the relegation zone heading into the festive schedule.
On Saturday Steve McClaren's men host Aston Villa and have a home clash against against Everton on Boxing day before trips to West Brom and then Arsenal in the New Year.
