Man Utd fearing double exit if Louis van Gaal survives sack calls

MANCHESTER UNITED could see Juan Mata and Ander Herrera quit the club if Louis van Gaal keeps hold of his job, according to reports.

Van Gaal's position has come under intense scrutiny, with the fans voicing their anger over their side's bland style.

The Red Devils are preparing for life after Van Gaal, with sacked Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho widely tipped to take over should the Dutch tactician be axed.

Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick have taken Van Gaal to task over his stifling tactics.

 

Juan Mata and Ander Herrera are amongst those who have been left baffled by Van Gaal.

And the Times claim Mata and Herrera could both leave although it is unlikely to be in January

The report suggests both players are exploring their options and it is thought they may head for the exit at the end of the season if Van Gaal is still in charge.

Mata has started 24 of 27 games this term for the Red Devils, but has been played out of position, while Herrera has been in and out of the starting XI.
