| Wolfsburg are offering £18million for Breel Embolo |
WOLFSBURG have approached Basel with an £18million bid for striker Breel Embolo, according to reports.
The 18-year-old is one of the most keenly-watched young strikers in Europe, with Manchester United and Arsenal both linked with him.
It's understood both Premier League clubs have scouted the teenager ahead of a summer move for the Switzerland international.
However, according to reports in Italy, Wolfsburg have stollen a march on their rivals by making an offer to Basel already.
Calciomercato claim the fee is £18m and the German side are hopeful of securing his services to boost their potency in front of goal.
The Bundesliga side currently sit fourth in the league, but have scored considerably less than rivals Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
And with eight goals already to his name this season in the Swiss Super League and Europa League, Wolfsburg will hope he will hit the ground running in Germany.
