| Breel Embolo is highly rated in Switzerland |
MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly looking at Basel’s Breel Embolo to help aid their current goalscoring woes.
Louis van Gaal's side have scored just 20 goals this season, which is the lowest among the clubs in the top four.
With Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial scoring just two and three goals respectively in the Premier League.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Gareth Bale have all been linked with a move to Old Trafford but according to reports in Switzerland suggest they could target 18-year-old Embolo.
Swiss newspaper Blick claim United sent scouts to watch the teenager against Fiorentina in the Europa League last week.
Southampton and Barcelona are also understood to have had people watching Embolo while Arsenal and Spurs have also been linked with the player, who has scored 24 goals in 67 games.
The report adds that Embolo could have been bought in the summer for around £16million but his price tag may now have increased.
