LOUIS VAN GAAL has admitted he does not know if he will remain as Manchester United manager after losing 2-0 to Stoke.
Van Gaal appeared to have an element of resignation about him as he conducted his post-match TV interview at the Britannia Stadium.
The Dutchman seemed to push the focus onto his players before admitting his future is far from certain.
"It's more difficult now after this fourth defeat," he said.
"My message was the media are saying things what is not confirmed and happening in Manchester United."
When pressed on whether he could leave, Van Gaal said: "It's another situation and we will see."
Van Gaal added: "My thoughts are that we go there to play football in the first half but we gave a very bad goal away.
"At that time it was too much and they scored out of a free-kick which was indirect.
"At half time we spoke and the second half was much better and we created one or two chances but we have to score.
"The belief was coming back and we played better but we don't dare to play and that's my analysis."
