Mamadou Sakho has returned to Liverpool training |
JURGEN KLOPP has revealed Mamadou Sakho is in line to return for Liverpool against Watford next weekend.
he defender has been sidelined since a suffering knee injury during the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at Anfield on November 8.
Sakho, who started the season in fantastic form, was initially expected to be out until the New Year.
But the 25-year-old returned to training on Friday as the injury was not as serious as first feared.
The Frenchman will not be considered for selection against West Brom on Sunday but is expected to be available for next week's trip to Watford.
Klopp said: "Mama trained with the team yesterday but has to carry on training - that's what he needs.
"No more issues with the knee, he is OK. If nothing else happens then he should be available next week."
