JURGEN KLOPP faces an anxious wait over the seriousness of Jordan Henderson's latest injury scare.
The England international featured in Liverpool's 1-0 victory over Sunderland last night but had to be taken off after 61 minutes.
Henderson has just returned from a persistent heel injury and, while yesterday's knock may not be related, Klopp admits he is worried about his captain.
"I don't really know," the German said on Henderson's injury. "It's not perfect otherwise we wouldn't have taken him off, but we had to.
"Now we have to wait. I cannot say exactly [what the injury is] at this moment. I hope it's not too serious."
Henderson has only featured seven times for the Reds in the league this season.
Another lengthy spell on the sidelines could jeopardise his chances of making Roy Hodgson's England squad for next summer's European Championships.
Liverpool take on West Ham on Saturday (12.45pm) with the Hammers one point below them in the league.
