PETR CECH has to communicate with his defence in three different languages.

Petr Cech reveals the secret behind Arsenal's defensive success
Cech has to utilise his language skills to keep Arsenal's defence together

The 33-year-old recently broke the record for clean sheets in the Premier League (170) after 11 years playing in England, and is still one of the world’s best in his position.
The Czech goalkeeper also speaks five languages - English, Czech, French, Spanish, and German - and with Spaniards Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal lining up next to Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker, he is stretched to the very limit during games.
“I speak to the full-backs in Spanish, to Koscielny in French and to Per in English because for him it is the same as me,” Cech told the Mirror.

“He organises people in English. Sometimes foreign players wouldn’t know what you say.
“That’s when you realise it’s easier to say it in their language than hoping they will understand. It can happen.”
Having made a staggering 486 appearances for Chelsea, Cech was deemed surplus to requirements over the summer, and made a £10million move to the Emirates.

Despite a shaky Premier League debut against West Ham United as Arsenal were beaten 2-0, Cech is now settled and looks close to being back to his best.
And the 6ft5 keeper has also revealed how he deals with his nerves during the game in a position where one error can cost you the match.
“During the game I never think about what happens if I make a mistake,” added Cech.

“I just play. I concentrate on what I have to every second of the game.
“Then at the end of the game you can sit down and think ‘that was good or that was bad’.”
