LEICESTER CITY are ready to bolster their unlikely Premier League title challenge with a £6.6million bid for Sampdoria youngster Pedro Pereira, according to reports.

Pereira, 17, has started six games for the Italian club since joining from Benfica in the summer.
Sampdoria paid just under £140,000 for the talented right-back and have slapped a huge price tag on his head to deter suitors.
But Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim Leicester are prepared to spend big on the emerging talent.
It is claimed Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri will use his sources in Italy to strengthen his team in January.
Leicester sit top of the Premier League and could extend their lead to five points if results go in their favour on Boxing Day.
They have benefitted from a relatively stable defence this season, with Danny Simpson taking up the right-back role in recent weeks.
