Leicester 2 - Chelsea 1: Vardy and Mahrez fire Foxes back above Arsenal into top spot
Jamie Vardy scored Leicester's opener as they held on to beat Chelsea at the KP
JAMIE VARDY and Riyad Mahrez fired Leicester back to the top of the Premier League at the expense of champions Chelsea.

Vardy grabbed the opener after 34 minutes stealing ahead of a stationary Kurt Zoma to beat Thibaut Courtois for his 15th goal of the season from Mahrez's cross from the right.
Mahrez then made it two early in the second half with a sublime move to shimmy round Cesar Azpilicueta and fire into the far corner.
Substitute Loic Remy scored a consolation with 13 minutes to go but Chelsea were unable to find the late equalizer.

The Foxes started the weekend in top spot but were overtaken by Manchester City on Saturday and then Arsenal on Sunday.
The three points, however, sent them back to the top with 35 points from 16.
The defeat leaves Chelsea hovering above the relegation zone, just a point above Norwich and in 15th place.
